Our Vision

Halswell Commons is an urban space for communities to form in and around, the way we should be living. Purposefully and thoughtfully designed to encourage and promote a way of life where neighbours and neighbourhoods are connected and dynamic.

Centred around living streets, our community is unlike anything else in Christchurch. Large expanses of green spaces, living streets with edible plants and lush nature reserves for all to enjoy. Although many of these elements can be found in isolation elsewhere, Halswell Commons’ modern urban design brings all of these and more together in one place, to create something much greater, and very unique.

This development puts into practice many of the values and principles of the most modern urban design.
